I believe you've hit it right on the head. Young people these days have an entitlement mentality in general. I remember a few years ago when my nephew was 12, I decided to take him along on a road trip to the ocean, because I had never seen it and wanted to swim in it. We saw it but couldn't find anything resembling a beach, just bolders for miles and miles. When we got home again, he threw a fit similar to a 2 year old's temper tantrum, complete with tears. Was quite entertaining watching a 12 yo do this. :)

Monk I'm really impressed by the level of destruction this class is capable of! granted, at level 8 I crafted all armor and weapon that he was able to use... He can take on mobs that even my Barbian would wet himself over. I took out the skeleton king so fast that he didn't even have time to spawn his minions. And I still have 3 levels to go!

I think it's because they are acting like infants. They have a misconception that pre-ordering costs more, even though it doesn't, then they read "UP TO 5 days early access" and deciding that means "I WILL get in exactly 5 days early". So the first issue they are having is that they heard that they might not get the full 5 days and lose their minds. Then Origin decides to increase it to 7 days, adding 2 days and announces that people will gain access in groups based on when they pre-registered. Most people will be in with the full 5 days bu...

Amazon.com got a few more copies of the Collectors Edition of SWTOR in. Apparently these are from people rage cancelling. If you are a Prime member, you get free release day delivery too.

The Beta is a little frustrating in that the servers are not yet stable. They are constantly finding problems and going into emergency maintenance mode to install patches and stuff. They also are limiting how many people can be in at once. This means that it's sometimes difficult to even play. That being said, when you can get on and don't get DC'd, the game is fun. I figured out this weekend that most of the game is account based and not character based. Basically, all of your achievemts, Stash, and gold are shared with all of your too...

The client download was about 3.5 gb. Not nearly as bad as I suspected. Initially I had some technical issues with installing the launcher. Kept telling me that the configuration options were invalid. The only option was the directory. I played with it and after the 4th try, it worked. The install works much like WoW. The basic launcher installs, then it patches everything else. There is a bar just like wow that starts out red for critical patches, then turns yellow/green for less important patches that you can skip and play, or wait...
